About Irene Schonberg BHSc (Nutritional & Dietetic Medicine)
Irene Schonberg has had a special interest in toxicity for 10+ years, since losing her husband to brain cancer. She knew there had to be a reason why a perfectly healthy 38 year old man would die from this disease and when doctors offered them no answers as to why or how this occurred, she studied Nutritional Medicine with a special interest in toxicity, until she found the answers she was looking for. While these answers came too late for her beloved husband, she now works with other brain cancer patients with a similar diagnosis, supporting them to good health throughout treatments and beyond.
Irene has spent hundreds of additional hours studying toxicity, which is a subject not taught in universities or medical school and yet it forms such an integral part of our lives. The modern western world is continually bombarded with more and more chemicals each year and still there are few practitioners who fully understand the relationships between certain heavy metals and how they displace nutrients, to a point that causes ill-health. From digestive issues, skin issues, autoimmune conditions and cancer, the list of illnesses derived from nutrient imbalances is extensive. Irene works hard to educate and empower clients, so they may go on to lead happy and healthy lives, and eating right for life!
Irene has been using diagnostic data in her clinic since 2020 and was able to establish links between the spectrometry data and routine blood test results. By using these two sets of data to lead her treatment plans, she was able to significantly improve the treatment outcomes of her clients. Through years of perfecting this method, she now teaches and mentors other practitioners on how to interpret this data and improve their clinic outcomes.
